As the trains are always crowded before the Christams holiday, MÁV decided to give a - not geometric but communications - solution to the paying passangers. There won't be more carriges on the trains, as MÁV is extremely low with cars, but a special IC will run around the country on the longest route possible with the newest and most modern vehicles present: regional Desiro railcars.
I decided to take this train as the last trip this year, but as I don't really find Desiro comforable - especially not for a 500 km route! - I went by it only to Szeged, and from there I took the king-of-rail railcars, the Sprinters, which would certainly win any competition in exterior design.
