We arrived just on time at the border station of Záhony as well: just after we passed from the Hungarian side to the no-man’s land, some lanes were closed down for the ceremony (and media event) of Hungarian politicians sending some aggregators and pumps to the Ukrainians to help their recovery after this years disastrous flood. This wasn’t a really nice thing to do, especially as they didn’t only play with the time of those wanting to pass the border but also those waiting for the aid.
