Knowing the history of the construction of the railway it's no surprise the tracks are curvy and that they follow the landscape faithfully. It was no problem for the two-axle cars and the short Engerth-locomotives but it is for 26.5 metres Z-coaches travelling four times faster accross the mountains. picture
