A depleted pit mine

They showed us a depleted pit that has been recultivated. A pit-like valley remained as the coal is now missing and they only used the spoil from this mine to raise land here. The job they’ve done is impressive, there’s even a lake with fish in it waiting for someone to buy the area and use it as a recreational facility.
