The Val Bever is probably the most beautiful photo site on the entire Rhätian Railways. We had our last day's room at Bever because we could get there more comfortably from the Berninabahn the day before and also because this way we could start with a full breakfast on our last day and before the long journey home on EuroNight Wiener Walzer. The Val Bever is a short side-valley of the Inn-valley, where the trains from St. Moritz to Chur climb a short ramp to the entrance of the Albula tunnel. From here to St. Moritz the track in the wide Oberengadin valley are almost entirely flat. I will show you photos of this area in the album about the Engadin railway, in this album I only introduce the stand-alone part of the Albulabahn.
