I took the bus to Szendrő in the picturesque Bódva-valley. I've been to Szendrőlád 
before, Szendrő is just north of that village in a somewhat different landscape. The best parts of the line are around Bódvaszilas , but I've never been there unfortunately, chiefly because there are no freight trains there and so far I've only visited the line on freight train days.
